Welcome...
... to "Caught", my entry layout for the Color Me Crazy Contest of Intoxicated Designs. In fact, I made more layouts and I' not satisfied with one of them, so I decided to just give this as an entry since time is running out. I would have liked to work longer on that one~ The good news are that the layout should be compatible with most browsers.
The layout features Ishida Uryu and Ichigo Kurosaki from the series Bleach, the image was found on Minitokyo. To tell the truth, I never actually watched or read Bleach, nevertheless I like it quite a lot and that picture looks great. I gave it the name "Caught" obviously because it seems they just realised that they have visitors (who doesn't wish they wouldn't have been caught?).

The final color scheme I took for this layout is complementary with the colors blue and yellow, the color I restricted is red. When I started working on this layout it was totally red, then I changed it to blue and now it's blue and yellow... It wasn't too easy to work with these colors, I used no really light colors, I know... I somehow miss them a bit. Also, I don't have any patterns or that stuff. I think I miss that too, on the other hand I wanted the header to be greatest priority. This is why it looks so plain... I think I like it that way.
I liked working on that layout! I had to read some tutorials and that stuff (I'm still a beginner, as you might see) but it was very much fun nevertheless. I like how the layout turned out quite a lot since I wanted it to be centered and the header isn't too bad either. The navigation is on the right side as you can see and I wanted it to be there. I don't think it is too bad... well, hopefully it's not too bad ^^'

Extras~
I had quite a lot of fun designing so I decided to make some additional avatars, which you can use but don't have to use.
I like them quite a lot, though I didn't do much while I created them, they aren't even matching the color scheme. I just added some small text here and there, used some adjustments and some textures from Fire Graphics.
Installing
- Download the .zip file and extract all the files into one folder.
- Open the index.html with an editor such as Notepad/Dreamwaver and edit the content and the navigation (see my instructions I wrote in there).
- Upload everything (index.html, style.css and the images).
- Enjoy the new design of your webiste!
