About the Layout
Color Me Crazy Contest
This layout was designed for Intoxicated Design's Color Me Crazy Contest. It is my first shounen-ai layout, and I tried to choose an image I would be comfortable with. I decided in the end to choose this image! I didn't mean to make it look so.... summer like and sunflowery, but it just ended up that way while I was making the header. Especially since the colors ended up green and yellow (analogous colors I am happy to say~~) And when you see green and yellow together, I am reminded of a sun flower, so yeah. Summer has passed obviously, so I hope that people won't be disgusted when they see this layout and be like "this girl doesn't even know her seasons!"
It actually took about 4 hours to finish it. I didn't expect it to take quite so long but I guess it was because I was distracted while I was making it (I was watching TV =_='') Yeah, most of the hours were because of the image. Even though it looks so summery, I like the way it turned out. I even added two buttons in this layout. I think I tend to add buttons whenever I am supremely satisfied with a layout in my making. Since it is shounen-ai, I wanted to make it look that way so I added two tiny hearts. Without the hearts it looks like they are just best friends. The PNG's at Distant Destiny of the series Code Geass look more shounen-ai then this image, and it isn't even a shounen-ai anime! At last minute I included the series title, although it doesn't do much to the layout...
