Welcome to Vongola X, a DIV/CSS premade design featuring the Tenth Boss of Vongola, Tsunayoshi Sawada from the hit animanga series Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! by Amano Akira. Although this design doesn't particularly fall under shounen-ai, it's close enough, right? Haha...
This layout was designed to fit into 800x600 resolution screens and has been tested in Firefox3, IE6-8, Chrome, Opera9 and Safari 4. This design was coded with valid XHTML 1.0 Transitoinal and CSS 2.1.

Tuesday, November 24, 2009 by MegoriSo, my initial plans for this design was to be more red, orange and yellow, similar to a previous design I had made. I had wanted actual flames on this design though, as it would have matched the flames on Tsuna, but it didn't work out. In the end, it became more blue than anything else and now has a blue/orange color scheme as well as a fire/ice type of elemental look and feel to it. I hope the orange doesn't clash too much against the blue, as I spent about an hour trying to pick the right colors for the text alone.
This design isn't entirely elaborate, but I figured it was about time I simplified my designs just a bit. After all, being on a designer's block isn't exactly giving me all of the creative juices I need to think more elaborately. I'm just thankful it turned out decently enough where I actually like it. I hope I'm not the only one either. A different approach is always a good way for me to test my skills set too, as I typically make designs were the header image blends into the background of the content area. So, this kind of design was kind of a challenge, especially in terms of color choices. It was either too much contrast, or not enough, but hopefully, it came out okay.
