...to Dreams of Tomrrow, featuring Ayase Yukiya of the animanga series Okane ga Nai by Tohru Kousaka. This design is very experimental for me, so there's a lot of things on here that I've never really attempted before. I'm still a little unsure of how I feel about the end result of this design, since the banner is still disturbingly wide in my book. Anyway, this is another DIV/CSS design and consists of a blue, purple, pink color scheme. The design is 980 pixels wide, making it best viewed with 1024x768 resolutions or higher. Also, because this design uses transparent PNGs, it should not be viewed on IE6 or lower. This design was coded with valid XHTML 1.0 Transitoinal and CSS 2.1.

Well now, I've finally gotten around to creating an Okane ga Nai premade. Yay me! Haha, no, not really I guess, since it only features Ayase. In truth, I couldn't even remember his name until I looked it up. It's pretty sad, then again, I've only read bits and pieces of this series before I dropped it.
Anyway, this is a blue, pink and purple themed design, focusing, more or less, on a sky-esque type of theme. As another challenge from my dear little sister, I was asked to design something with a girl, but since Intoxicated is a site based on shounen-ai and yaoi, girls are scarce (or so I like to pretend they are), so I went, instead with a feminine looking uke. I wanted to test my abilities to design for resolutions larger than 800x600, so it ended up being 980px wide instead. I don't know if you can tell, but I don't do well with so much space to work with. Ha~
Okay, to actually talk about the design... My original plan for the image was a wallpaper. Unfortunately, I messed up with the extraction and it ended up lower quality than I had wanted, so I shrunk the image and turned it into a design instead. Nifty, right? I spent nearly two days extracting the image, so I wasn't going to let all of that hard work go to waste. Afterwards, I was left staring at the image for several hours, not knowing exactly where I had wanted to go with the design. After much pondering, I decided I wanted to add wings onto Ayase. Unfortunately, with my craptastic Photoshop skills, the wings looked horrendous, so in a fit of frustration, I pulled out the smudge tool and randomly started smudging the would-be wing. In the end, it turned out as a decent puff of cloud. ♥
Sorry, this premade doesn't come with anything customized aside from the bold, strong, italics and links. I got lazy. At the very least, you get the spiffy icon though!
